There will be a road closure in Bawdrip Lane, Bawdrip to carry out repairs to the disused railway bridge from the junction with Church Road, northwards for a total distance of 32 metres This is expected to begin on 10th August and last for 40 days

The order becomes effective on 05th August 2026 and will remain in force for eighteen months.
The works are expected to commence on 10th August 2026 and last for 40 days to enable Hammond ECS Ltd to carry out repairs to the disused rail bridge on behalf of Historical Railway Estates – National Highways England.
The contractor has indicated that access for Emergency Services through the site is not permitted on this occasion.
